Dynamic Creative

It is easy to add dynamic creative to your account. Dynamic creative allows you to provide a widget for affiliates to use on their websites. These widgets are implemented using iframes (for flash see Flash Ads).

Tracking link

So that clicks from your widget are tracked for affiliates you must ensure that all links leading from your widget are prepended by the 'tracklink' variable.

TIP: remember to set the target of all outbound links to _blank or _parent to remove the iframe.

For example:

Your widget location will be requested by the affiliate...

http://www.yourwebsite.co.uk/your-widget.php?tracklink=http%3A%2F%2Faflite.co.uk%2Ftrack%2F%3Faid%3D12224%26mid%3D32582 

Your widget will now have the variable tracklink which contains...

http://aflite.co.uk/track/?aid=12224&mid=1234

Now you want to link to a page on your website called http://www.yourwebsite.co.uk/buy.php ...

<?php= $tracklink.'&dl='.urlencode('http://www.yourwebsite.co.uk/buy.php') ?>

This produces the link...

http://aflite.co.uk/track/?aid=12224&mid=1234&dl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yourwebsite.co.uk%2fbuy.php

Now this click will now go via the tracking system
