Installing Tracking Code

The tracking code supplied on your Goal Definition page should be installed into the visible part of the webpage returned to the visitor once they have completed the Goal.

Installation Instructions

1. Copy & paste code into the HTML code of your goal page. This is usually the customer order confirmation page.
2. Set goal variables (denoted in code by [$variable])
   • value = the sale value in GBP. e.g. 123.99
   • ref = unique reference for your identification of the goal. Usually a 'sale id'.
3. Register test goal. As soon as our system receives a successful test your goal will be active.

How it works

Each time there is a goal/sale on your website our server must be notified by calling the following url: http://www.aflite.co.uk/modules/track/goal.php

We use the following variables:

In combination to the above variables you send to us we have also stored a cookie onto your customers computer. This completes the tracking. When the above is registered and the customer has a valid cookie we record and determine the commission.
